Time to reveal your hidden treasures
The Rural Women’s Network (RWN) has formed a partnership with the NSW Centre for Volunteering and NSW Office for Women’s Policy to shine the spotlight on NSW rural women volunteers who are making a difference in their communities. Whether it is coordinating the local shopping bus for the elderly, running riding for the disabled lessons or managing the school canteen, we want to know about them and need your help – and it is really easy to be involved. You just need to fill out a simple nomination form from our website (below), provide some information about your nominee and get someone to back up your claim by counter signing your nomination.

Background
With the support of our funding partners who include Rouse Hill Town Centre, Woolworths, Landlearn NSW and Hawkesbury Harvest we are a rolling out the Archibull Prize ( see link below) in Western Sydney in 2010. Originally a pilot of 5 schools overwhelming interest and support has blown this out to 14 schools and due to the generosity of the Carlingford Rotary this now includes Alice Betteridge
As part of the program industry advocates go into the schools and share their farming experiences with the children and invite the children to ask them questions
I would like to be able to deliver this experience to highest level possible to Alice Betteridge and so I need a very special person to help make this happen
Looking for to hearing from your network
